INTEGRITY BREACHES
The external reporting channel for the processing of reports of integrity breaches committed within the General Intelligence and Security Service (GISS) or State Security (VSSE) is set up with the Committee R/I. This means that anyone who has obtained information concerning a potential breach of integrity within GISS or State Security in a professional context can submit a report to the Committee.
The whistleblower’s identity is not disclosed. The whistleblower’s personal data and the report itself are processed by the Committee R/I in a strictly confidential manner. Within the Committee, only the members of the Integrity Cell have access to this information.
The law prohibits anyone from taking reprisals against a whistleblower or against any other person involved in a report. Therefore, State Security or GISS may not, on the basis of a report, take measures that are prejudicial to the whistleblower or to the persons involved (such as dismissal, disciplinary measures, negative appraisals, refused promotion, transfer, etc.).
As a whistleblower, you have the right to request support from the Federal Institute for Human Rights (FIRM-IFDH), an independent public institution.
