Intelligence Services Codex

In contrast to what is sometimes thought, the intelligence services are subject to many rules. But they are not always so well known, not even by the players on the ground, let alone the various administrations or citizens who are directly or indirectly affected by the work of an intelligence service.

Hence the initiative of the Standing Committee I to open up these rules with a codex. When compiling the Intelligence Services Codex it was decided to bring together all ‘standards’ relating to the responsibilities, work and reviewing of the two Belgian intelligence services and the Coordination Unit for Threat Assessment. The codex is regularly updated.
